Sunrisers Hyderabad Squad Overview- Indian Premier League 2017

The Sunrisers Hyderabad will be confident of defending their crown in the upcoming tenth edition of Indian Premier League 2017. Captain David Warner led the side to their first-ever title last year after winning the finals against Royal Challengers Bangalore by a small margin. Hyderabad has acquired the services of Afghanistan players in Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan all set to play for the side in the tenth edition.

Sunrisers made their first appearance in 2013 after Deccan Chargers failed to fulfill their key obligations. The owner of the franchise is Sun TV Channel Head Kalanithi Maran as the side will play all their home games at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad.

The reigning champions have a star-studded squad full of top-notch players such as Yuvraj Singh, Kane Williamson, Shikhar Dhawan, Ashish Nehra, Mustafizur Rahman and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Ashish Nehra and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are two frontline pace combination for Sunrisers followed by Mustafizur Rahman and Barindar Sran to stem the flow of runs in the middle overs of the innings. Bhuvneshwar Kumar topped the bowling charts last year with 23 wickets at a superb economy rate of 7.42 runs per over. Sunrisers have acquired the services of Ben Cutting and Moises Henriques for the upcoming season that starts on 5th April as Sunrisers Hyderabad will play Royal Challengers Bangalore to kick-start the tenth edition of Indian Premier League 2017.
