Australian team after a scratchy start in the ICC WorldT20 2016 have finally started to get their act together by executing clinical performance against Pakistan side at Mohali.

Australian Captain Steven Smith came to the party at the right time in Mohali to play an extravagant innings that helped his team put up a daunting total for Pakistan side .He was ably supported by Shane Watson who batted in his usual style after announcing his retirement just before the eve of the game.

The Australian Skipper Steve Smith came out and played a superb knock under pressure as he scored 61 runs off 43 balls to make take stabilize Australian innings at a critical juncture of the game.Glenn Maxwell also played well for his 30 runs off 18 balls to provide a push and increase the rate of scoring in the innings.
Shane Watson came late in the order and played a special innings of 44 runs off 21 balls to catapult his team to reach a target of 193 runs after 20 overs.
Ahmed Shehzad yet again could not make an impression in the game after being dismissed for 20 runs.Sharjeel Khan continued to impress as he did tried his best to provide momentum to the Pakistan’s innings with quickfire 30 runs that included six fours before being cleaned up by left arm medium pacer James Faulkner.
Khalid Latif played a nice innings of 46 runs after being slotted into the side in place of Mohammad Hafeez.He along with Umar Akmal tried to revive Pakistan’s hopes to stay in the game in form of a partnership.
But when both got out crucial stage as Australia came to closer to winning the game in comfortable fashion.James Faulkner had an incredible day to savor as he took 5 wickets for 27 runs in his four overs to steer his team to a 21 run victory.Young leg-spinner Adam Zampa also impressed with his great bowling under pressure against Pakistan side.
The win keeps Australia in the hunt to claim a place in the semifinals of the ICC T20 World Cup 2016 while a loss to Pakistan means a woeful end to their T20 Campaign.
