The second T20 match of the series was played between England and South Africa at the Wanderers,Johannesburg.
The Proteas had taken 1-0 lead in 2 match series due to close win at Cape Town.England were put in to bat as Fad du Plessis won the toss.
England lost the early wicket of Jason Roy who was cleaned up by premier pacer Kagiso Rabada.Alex Hales could not make a significant contribution as he was gone after a terrible mix up with Eoin Morgan.Joe Root played an aggressive innings but was once again undone by the leg spin of Imran Tahir who was caught at mid-on by David Miller.
Eoin Morgan and Jos Buttler formed a partnership and produced a wide range of aggressive strokes to take England past 150 runs after 16 overs.Jos Butler was particulary clinical in his big hitting as he scored 54 runs off 28 balls that included four fours and four sixes.
The turning point came as there was massive slide for England after Skipper Morgan got run out and Jos Butler also fell to the delivery of Kyle Abbott.
The other batters played reckless shots as England lost last 7 wickets for 14 runs to reach 171 runs after 20 overs.
In reply,South Africa opening duo AB DeVilliers and Hashim Amla put on a 125 run partnership to cruise towards the total.
AB DeVilliers 71 runs off 29 balls completely deflated the English attack and completely turned the game in favor of his team.
He was supported by a sublime innings played by Amla who remained unbeaten for his 69 runs alongside with Faf Du Plessis to take South Africa to a nine wicket win and win the series 2-0.
