South Africa is all set to tour New Zealand for a full-fledged tour of two months that will see the side play three tests, five odis and one T20.South Africa are in red-hot form and will be looking to start on a good note on the first of their big overseas series this year.
Faf du Plessis is the new captain for South Africa and has established his credentials on the Australian tour where the side went onto win the series.du Plessis known his cool and calm demeanor coupled with excellent tactics on the field saw the side consistently winning games since the start of home season last year in September.AB de Villiers did make his return as one day captain as South Africa decimated Srilanka to complete whitewash in the five-match series. Stephen Cook, Dean Elgar, JP Duminy and Quinton de Kock have chipped in notable contributions with the bat while Kagiso Rabada has been the star with the ball across all three formats.
New Zealand on the other hand are on also splendid run of form that has seen remain undefeated across all three formats at home. During this time they have successfully brushed aside teams like Pakistan, Bangladesh and Australia. Martin Guptill, Neil Broom, Kane Williamson and Tom Latham will hold key with the bat. The likes of Mitchell Santner and Ish Sodhi are good spin options while Trent Boult and Tim Southee are world class performers with the ball in the format.
