Bangladesh have announced their 14-man T20 squad for the upcoming tour of India. The selectors have gone with same group of players. Mohammad Saifuddin failed to find a place in the squad after suffering from a back injury.
On the other hand, India have yet to announce their squad as they currently playing Test series against South Africa at home. Virat Kohli will lead the side for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Bangladesh.
In the batting department, the side will be relying on the experienced trio of Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah to deliver the bulk of the runs. Liton Das has also done a decent job with the bat for Bangladesh at the top of the innings.
Middle-order comprising of Mahmudullah Riyad, Soumya Sarkar and Mosaddek Hossain will need to deliver crucial scores for the side in this three-match T20I series. Rookie all-rounder Afif Hossain has delivered some impressive performances for Bangladesh in short of span. The 20-year old will be hoping to make a significant contribution for the side against India.
In the bowling department, the side will be depending on the likes of Mustafizur Rahman, Shakib Al Hasan and Shafiul Islam to deliver crucial breakthroughs. Left-arm orthodox spinner Arafat Sunny and Medium-pacer Al-Amin Hossain are other bowling options for Bangladesh for this upcoming three-match T20I series.
