Virat Kohli will be keen to end India’s home season on a high after brushing aide sides like New Zealand and England comfortably. Kohli has been in scintillating form as he amassed over 700 runs against England to see India hammer the visitors 4-0 in five-match test series. Ravichandran Ashwin is also at peak of his career as he raced to 250 wickets in test cricket in least number of matches and keeps taking heaps of wickets. He has really settled into a nice groove and rhythm since last couple of years and it has paid off with consistent wickets with ball in hand. Ravendra Jadeja is also not far behind and has been a match-winner with the ball alongside Ravi Ashwin.

The Indian batting lineup has a plethora of talent with Murali Vijay, Lokesh Rahul, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Ajinkya Rahane who are capable of scoring big runs in the format. The batting has done reasonably well as top four batsmen has scored big tons in the home games against New Zealand and England and kept chipping in with runs on a consistent basis.

Will Kohli’s men will able to easily brush Australia aside or we might see a typical Australian fightback that has seen them producing special out of nothing in tough situations. It will be exciting battle between the top test sides in world cricket.
