Schedule, Fixtures for Pakistan Vs West Indies in UAE

After a disappointing home series against India, West Indies will tour Pakistan in UAE in the month of September. The Calypso Kings will play three match T20 and one day series followed by three test match series to conclude the tour.It is going to be a closely contested in the shorter formats such Odis and T20s as West Indies are currently World Champions in T20 Cricket and are ranked slightly ahead of Pakistan in the one day game. The sides have played four T20 games in which West Indies and Pakistan have been victorious on two occasions. There is not much to choose between the two sides either in the one day format as overall matches played sees a record largely in favor of West Indies.

Pakistan will be looking to perform well in the one day series to make sure they move up the ICC one day team rankings in order to avoid embarrassing situation of play qualifying round for 2019 World Cup in England. Pakistan side has received a lot of flak after the one day series after they were mauled by England by a score line of 4-1 in the series. The inconsistency has plagued West Indies to perform well in the one day series but recently in the tri-series against Australia and South Africa they showed glimpses that they can still compete and give any team a run for their money. The likes of Marlon Samuels, Darren Bravo, Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narine will not make it easier for Pakistan in one day series.

The closure of white ball cricket will see three test match series between Pakistan and West Indies. The sides have contrasting fortunes as side led by Misbah-ul-Haq are ranked no.1 side in the ICC Test Team Rankings while West Indies are languishing at the bottom after dismal display against India at home.It is quite evident that Pakistan do hold the aces in test series as West Indies
