Pakistan is going to tour Australia in the month of December to play three match test series. The side is currently playing New Zealand for two match test series. Pakistan Cricket Board has announced their final squad for the tour to Australia as sixteen players has been picked for the tour down under. The selection committee have opted not to make any changes as same squad of players have been selected for tour of Australia which means Mohammad Rizwan and Sharjeel Khan retain their place in lineup. The series will see Pakistan play their opening test at Brisbane which is going to be a day night test starting on 15th December.
The side is currently struggling in New Zealand as they lost the opening test to hosts at Christchurch with batting not firing in bowler friendly conditions. Pakistan’s prolific opener Mohammad Hafeez also did make it into the side as he failed in the games played in the domestic competition. The side face a more daunting in Australia as hosts turned up good in the last test at Adelaide against South Africa to secure a much needed win with Jackson Bird and Peter Handscomb shining as young stars for the hosts.
