The final game of T20 series was played between Pakistan and West Indies at Abu Dhabi. Pakistan once again put up a convincing display with bat and ball to win the series 3-0.West Indies batted first after sent in by Pakistan who won the toss and decided to field first.
West Indies did struggle once again as they could only manage 104 runs from their 20 overs. Pakistan in reply strolled to a comfortable win by 8 wickets. Jerome Taylor started the bowling for West indies and was expensive from his first two overs as Pakistan got off to a decent start. Debutant Kesrick Williams who got his first game bowled right lines and length to keep both batsmen at bay. He bowled well as he dismissed Sharjeel Khan for 11.Khalid Latif played for his 21 runs and was deceived by well bowled slower one from Kesrick to see his stumps get clattered. Pakistan were placed at 40 for 2 after 6 overs as Babar Azam and Shoaib Malik joined hands at the crease to put on a unbeaten 68 run stand to see Pakistan complete a win in the 15th over.
Earlier in the day, West Indies started badly as left arm spinner Imad Wasim once again turned to be player for Pakistan to provide early breakthrough. He took wickets of Johnson Charles and Chadwick Walton to see the side in a spot of bother at 17 for 3 after 5 overs. Marlon Samuels played well for his 42 runs but the flurry of wickets at the end meant they could only muster 104 runs at the end of their innings. Imad Wasim was awarded man of the series for his splendid performances upfront with the ball against West Indies in every game.
West Indies did miss the services of their players like Chris Gayle, André Russell and Lendl Simmons who are proven game changers in the shorter format. While things are looking good for Pakistan as their new captain Sarfaraz Ahmed is on red hot winning streak with a 3-0 series against T20 Champions in UAE.
