Mohammad Hafeez doubtful for Pakistan’s tour to England due to knee injury

Pakistani opener Mohammad Hafeez is doubtful for upcoming tour to England this summer as he has been ruled out of skills camp that will commence on May 28 at National Cricket Academy in Lahore. The doctors will closely observe his knee injury and will be monitored on weekly basis as important tour to England is coming up for Pakistan side this summer.A fresh can on his knee revealed a slight improvement in his conditions as he first picked up this injury in March. He will go through rehabilitation program and will take adequate rest in order to recover from the injury in time to take part in the tour to England. He was absent from the fitness camp set up at Abbottabad in the Pakistan Military Academy.

Mohammad Hafeez last played for Pakistan in WorldT20 in India where he injured his knee due to bruising in his femur. He has taken rest since then and is now on a rehabilitation process as doctors are taking small steps so that he is not rushed back from injury to play competitive cricket. His inclusion in the squad will decided in three or four days for the tour to England to compete in a four match test series. The squad will leave for England and will be stationed at Hampshire for camp ahead of two practice games in Sussex and Somerset before the start of First Test at Lords on 14th July.
