Kohli and DeVilliers batting prowess derails Sunrisers Hyderabad to give Royal Challengers Bangalore 45 run victory

Royal Challengers played Sunrisers Hyderabad at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium,Bengaluru in the fourth game of ninth editon of Indian Premier League.Royal Challengers enthused energy into this year’s Indian Premier League as they scored a mammoth 227 runs in the innings to win the game by 45 runs over Sunrisers Hyderabad.The innings for Royal Challengers Bangalore was all about supreme batting duo of Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers who both scored fifties and pulverized the bowling lineup of Sunrisers Hyderabad at will to finish with total of 227 runs after 20 overs.

Sunrisers Hyderabad started their reply on a good note as they scored 83 runs in eight overs in spite of losing just one wicket of Shikhar Dhawan.David Warner was adventurous in his stroke play as he hit 21 ball fifty that included five fours and three sixes.The slide for Sunrisers Hyderabad came in the game when David Warner got dismissed and another three wickets in quick succession to lose the game by 45 runs.

Parvez Rasool bowled well for Royal Challengers Bangalore along with Shane Watson and Yuzvendra Chahal picked up crucial wickets.Earlier in the day,Chris Gayle went early without troubling the scorers for just one run dismissed by Bhuvneshwar Kumar.The problems compounded for Sunrisers Hyderabad as leading pacer Ashish Nehra could not continue to injury issues.The crowd witnessed a mesmerizing display of batting masterclass as Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers blasted 139 runs in the final ten overs.

The only bowler who managed some respectability in terms bowling figures was Mustazifur Rahman who bowled his fast cutters to unsettle the likes of Kohli and co.The Royal Challengers Bangalore have started their campaign on a rollicking start while Sunrisers Hyderabad have all the work to do if want to have any chance of competing in this year’s Indian Premier League
