Inzamam ul Haq appointed as Chief Selector of Pakistan by PCB

The Pakistan Cricket Board has made an official decision as they have selected and hired Inzamam-ul-Haq to take up the role of Chief Selector for Pakistan Cricket on 18th April.2016.Inzamam-ul-Haq who had an illustrious career representing Pakistan in 398 ODIs and 120 Tests scoring over 20000 runs in international cricket is all ready to play a vital role in revival of Pakistan Cricket after dismal outings in the Asia Cup and WorldT20.

He retired from international cricket in 2007 and will replace Haroon Rashid as chief selector.The members of new selection committee includes Wajatullah Wasti,Tauseef Ahmed and Wasim Haider led by Inzamam-ul-Haq.This will be first official stint for Inzamam-ul-Haq in any capacity serving Pakistan Cricket after serving Afghanistan as their national coach for about an year.
