Virat Kohli came to the crease and formed 50 runs partnership with Suresh Raina who had a quiet tournament by his standards.Virat Kohli once again was looking in terrific touch as signs were ominous for Bangladesh team at one stage.Bangladesh got back into the game with prized scalp of Virat Kohli who was dismissed by right arm spinner Shuvagata Hom who was slotted into the side in place of Arafat Sunny.The two successive wickets of Suresh Raina and Hardik Pandya ensured that Bangladesh pegged back the rate of run scoring as India could only get to 147 runs after 20 overs.

The game was set for Bangladesh to win it easily as last over by Hardik Pandya saw use of some clever tactics used by MS Dhoni to cause nervy moments among the opposition batsmen and propel India to victory.All looked so close for Bangladesh as Mushfiqur Rahim scored two consecutive boundaries to see his team just requiring two runs from the last three balls.The last three deliveries saw such a horrendous display of batting as Mahmdullah and Mushifuqur were caught in the outfield on low full tosses off the bowling of Hardik Pandya to see Bangladesh fall agonizingly close to victory as India won the game by one run as MS Dhoni managed to run out Mustafizur Rehman on the last bowl of the innings.
India marginal win provides them hope to qualify for the semifinals as they play their next game against Australia at Mohali while Bangladesh is out of the ICC WorldT20 2016.
