India decimate Pakistan to win by 5 wickets.

The mother of all battles between India and Pakistan was played at Shere Bangla National Stadium,Mirpur turned out to be one-sided affair.

Indian Skipper MS Dhoni won the toss and decided to field first to make full use of pitch conditions.Pakistan openers departed early as Muhammad Hafeez and Sharjeel khan were dismissed due to probing spells produced by Indian pacers Ashish Nehra and Jaspreet Bumrah.

After that it turned out to be a sordid affair as Khurram Manzoor went back to the pavilion due to an ugly mix-up with Shoaib Malik.

Shoaib Malik also went for a low score as he was dismissed by Hardik Pandya.The dismissal of Umar Akmal and Shahid Afridi saw Pakistan team consigning to an all time low as they were 42 for 6 inside 8 overs.

Sarfaraz Ahmed tried his best to make Pakistan reach some modest total but it was not one of those days as he was cleaned up by a delivery from  left arm spinner Ravendra Jadeja for 25 runs.

The rest of the  lower order wilted quickly as Pakistan were bundled out for 83 runs which is now their third lowest total scored in T20 format.

India in reply came across a scintillating spell of fast bowling produced by left arm pacer Mohammad Amir. He produced searing deliveries to dismiss players like Rohit Sharma and  Ajinkya Rahane in the first over of the innings.

He was the only bright spot for a team that has stooped to their lowest ebb in terms of batting in T20 format.

Mohammad Amir had a close call for leg before against Virat Kohli but umpire ruled not out.Suresh Raina looked all at sea as he played ugly hoick to be caught by Wahab Riaz to leave India in a precarious position at 8 runs on the scoreboard for the loss of 3 wickets.

Yuvraj Singh and Virat Kohli formed a crucial 72 run partnership as they took India closer towards victory in a high octane game.

Virat Kohli played a top notch innings of 49 runs as he played with finesse and composure to weather the storm created by magical spell produced by left arm pacer Mohammad Amir.

Mohammad Sami dismissed Kohli and Pandya in consecutive deliveries but all was lost by then as India won by 5 wickets in an important encounter.
