After suffering series defeat at home, Australia has made six changes to their test squad for the final day night test at Adelaide. The final test will be played on 24th November on Thursday as hosts Australia will want to go fight hard and win the dead rubber to salvage some pride. The last fixture will be an opportunity for Australia to make amends for all failures in the first two tests against South Africa.Peter Nevill has been dropped as Matthew Wade comes into the side after giving consistent performances for his domestic side in Shield Cricket.
The six members retained from the debacle at Hobart are Captain Steve Smith, David Warner, Usman Khuwaja, Mitchell Starc, Nathan Lyon and Josh Hazlewood. The side got mauled at the hands of Srilanka to suffer a whitewash in a series played in Srilanka.Peter Handscomb, Nic Maddinson, Chadd Sayer, and Matt Renshaw are all set to make their debuts for the game at Adelaide against South Africa. Fast bowler Jackson Bird is also included in the squad as hosts will fight hard to put on a better show against South Africa in the day night game. Australia last made such big changes to the squad way back against West Indies in 1984.
