Host India will be looking for another clinical performance to compete a series sweep over struggling South Africa in the third and final Test of the series at JCSA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi.
Virat Kohl-led unit won the first two Test quite comfortably and will be looking to inflict a whitewash over South Africa in the three-match series.
In the batting department, the focus will be once again on the experienced trio of Captain Virat Kohli, Mayank Agarwal and Rohit Sharma. The top-three has delivered big runs for the side in the first two games of the Test series.
In the previous game, Kohli smashed unbeaten double century to see India score 600 runs in their first innings. Opener Mayank Agarwal continued his rich vein of form and scored a fluent century.
Ravendra Jadeja, Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara also scored half-centuries to see India pile on the runs in their first innings.
In the bowling department, the focus will on the pace trio of Umesh Yadav, Ishant Sharma and Mohammad Shami to make crucial breakthroughs. Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravendra Jadeja will be looking to continue their good form with the ball in this game.

For South Africa, things look extremely unsettled to say the least. In the batting department, there is no surety of who out of Quinton de Kock and Zubayr Hamza will eventually open the innings, whereas it is confirmed that Theunis De Bruyn
If Quinton de Kock is promoted to open the innings, then Heinrich Klaasen might make his Test debut as a specialist wicket-keeper for this game.
In the bowling department, the side will go into dead rubber with three pacers-Kagiso Rabada, Vernon Philander and Anrich Nortje.
The pitch is expected to be excellent for batting for this game.
