Zimbabwe will be looking to improve their recent record in the 50-over format when they will face Bangladesh in the first ODI in Dhaka on Sunday.The visitors are coming into this series still hurting from the failure of not qualifying for the ICC World Cup 2019 and since then, their performance graph have only worsened.
In the series starting from Sunday, the team will be depending on the likes of captain Hamilton Masakadza, Brendon Taylor, and Sean Williams to share the responsibility in the batting department.
The return of middle-order batsman Sikandar Raza will going to boost the morale of the team going into the series, as he not only has the ability to sheet anchor the innings, but also has the ability to play big shots in the later stages.

On the other hand, Bangladesh will be high on confidence after impressive performances in the recent past in the 50-over format.In their last two assignments in the ODIs, the Mashrafe Mortaza-led unit register an impressive series win in West Indie and then later finished the Asia Cup as the runner-up.
In the batting department, the team will be heavily relying on the experienced duo of Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah to lead from the front in the absence of star players Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan.In the bowling department, the team will be relying on Mortaza, Rubel Hossain and Mustafizur Rahman to deliver in the fast-bowling department, whereas off-spinner Mehidy Hasan will lead the spin attack.The pitch is expected to be on the slower side whereas the weather is unlikely to affect the match.
