David Willey might miss out on playing the one day series against Pakistan due to injury

David Willey who has regular fixture in the England line up in the one day game for a while has been ruled out for the series against Pakistan. He sustained in his right hand while playing domestic t20 finals representing Yorkshire. England is set to name a replacement for him for the series but will have to wait medical assessment reports to call on his participation. The sides earlier played test series which turned out to drawn series at 2-2.

Mark Wood and Ben Stokes are in the squad for the series against Pakistan after being declared fit and fully recovered from injuries sustained on the field. While England side has reasons to confident to have upper hand in the series after their win against Srilanka earlier this summer. England does seem to have the edge over Pakistan as last one day series between the sides went in the favor of the England when played in the desert shores of UAE.

Pakistan has been poor in the one day format and as they slipped to all time low in the rankings. Azhar Ali is determined to produce good cricket in the format to make sure Pakistan climb up rankings by winning on a regular basis.
