Australia will be eager to bounce back when they will face India in the second Test of the three-match series in Perth. The home side suffered a close 31-run defeat in the series opener and will be hoping to put a much better show in the match starting from Friday.
Even though the home side had a disappointing result to deal with in Adelaide, the team management have decided to go in with the same team in Perth, which means there will be no place for all-rounder Mitchell Marsh once again.
In the batting department, hosts Australia will be hoping that the likes of Aaron Finch and Usman Khawaja will return to form and help in-form batsmen like Travis Head and Shaun Marsh. In the batting department, the onus once again will be on the pace-trio of Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood to provide timely breakthroughs.

In the batting department, the onus will be on the likes of in-form Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane to provide stability, whereas the team management will be hoping that veteran duo of captain Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will hit the top form and help the team in posting a competitive total on the board.
In the bowling department, the onus will be on the likes of Jaspreet Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar to provide timely breakthroughs.
The pitch is unveiled today and is expected to assist pacers as the curator left a lot of grass on it, whereas the weather is expected to stay fine throughout.
