The win game meant that Zouks have cemented their place in the playoffs and are two points ahead of defending champions Trinbago Knight Riders. Fletcher carried his bat through the innings on a pitch perfectly suited for batting as his partner Johnson Charles put on an 89 run opening stand to give Zouks an ideal start in the innings. Charles scored another half century and struck two sixes before he was dismissed for 59 runs by left arm spinner Shakib-ul-Hasan. Shane Watson came to the crease and played a belligerent innings of 43 runs off 20 balls.He struck five sixes in his innings to share 59 run crucial partnership with Andre Fletcher to take the side to post daunting total of 206 runs after 20 overs.
The chase for Jamaica Tallawahs was far from ideal as Chris Gayle and Kumar Sangakkara went early for low scores to dent the side’s hope to overcoming a daunting total of 206 runs posted by the St. Lucia Zouks. Chadwick Wilson top scored with 54 runs off 51 balls while the rest of the batting faltered to see them get bundled out for 143 runs in their innings. St. Lucia Zouks fast bowlers Jerome Taylor and Delorn Johnson picked five wickets among to give their side a convincing win by 63 runs.
