Amit Mishra bamboozles Kings XI Punjab as Delhi Daredevils win by 9 wickets

The seventh game of the Indian Premier League was played between Delhi Daredevils and Kings XI Punjab at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium,Delhi.Delhi Daredevils led by Zaheer Khan won the toss and decided to field first on sluggish surface.

The bowlers for Daredevils as veteran fast bowler Zaheer Khan led the way bowling a tight spell.Amit Mishra,who was playing his 100th game in the Indian Premier League came on and destroyed the batting line up by dismissing Vohra,Marsh,Maxwell and Miller  to see Kings XI Punjab reeling at 59 for 5 after 11 overs.Amit Mishra ended up with four wickets for just 11 runs in his three overs.

The quick loss of key players meant it was uphill task for Kings XI Punjab who crawled their way towards 100 run mark to reach 111 runs in their 20 overs. Manan Vohra was the top scorer for Kings XI Punjab scoring 32 runs while the rest could not make any contribution in the innings.

Kings XI did not grab the opportunities provided by Delhi Daredevils openers as Quinton De Kock was dropped twice early in his innings.Shreyas Iyer was dismissed for 3 off the bowling of seamer Sandeep Sharma.Quinton De Kock scored a nice half century off   38 balls while Sanju Samson provided support with unbeaten 33 runs to see their side home to nine wicket victory over Kings XI Punjab.
