The dead rubber game played at Shere Bangla National Stadium,Mirpur between Pakistan and Sri Lanka showed glimpses of promise to be a close contest as Mohammad Amir bowled a searing inswinger that thudded into Dinesh Chandimal pads in the first over.
After that it felt pretty flat as Sri Lanka openers Tilkaratne Dilshan and Dinesh Chandimal scored freely and churned out runs like a dream on a placid wicket.
The opening duo put on a 110 run partnership that saw some orthodox shots with scintillating improvisation to move the score board at the rate of knots.The Lankan Tigers were placed for 100 runs after 13 overs.

Tilkaratne Dilshan was highest scorer of the innings with 75 runs unbeaten till the end while Dinesh Chandimal scored another fifty to cap off a good tournament in terms of personal form in the t20 format just before Worldt20 begins in India.
Mohammad Hafeez went early in the initial over again but Sharjeel khan scored a fast paced 31 runs to derail Lankan bowlers and shift the momentum towards his team’s way.
Sarfaraz Ahmed continued his good form as he struck run a ball 38 runs to keep green shirts in the hunt and close to the victory.
Umar Akmal played a gem of an innings with 48 runs off 37 balls that included four fours and two sixes that took away the game from Srilankan bowlers who had no answer to his assault.
