India has made changes to their test squad ahead of their big series against England that will commence in the month of November. Virat Kohli and his men will have to put in lot of effort as they cannot throw their guard down against a side like England. For visitors, it will be uphill battle coming into the series after suffering a shocking defeat against the hands of Bangladesh in the second test.
Since the start of 2011,India has played 13 Tests against England and have come out on top on two occasions make it an all interesting contest as Alastair Cook’s men would be keen to maintain the winning edge over the hosts coming into the first test. Rohit Sharma has been ruled out of the series as Karun Nair has been named as a replacement in the batting order. Jayant Yadav and Hardik Pandya have been called up for the series against England while Gautam Gambhir has been retained as he performed well in the last test against New Zealand.
The others players missing out due to injuries are right arm pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar and opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan. The selection committee did say that the players will be available for the third test played at Mohali as they announced the 15 –member squad for series against England.
Jayant Yadav and Hardik Pandya made their one day international debut for India against New Zealand in the five match series.
