Chris Lynn’s batting onslaught helps Brisbane Heat overcome Perth Scorchers by nine wickets

Chris Lynn showcased destructive abilities for Brisbane Heat with the bat to outclass Perth Scorchers in the game played at the WACA, Perth in the Big Bash League. The win for Brisbane Heat means that are now sitting well at the top of the league with four wins followed Scorchers and Sixers tied with six points each.

Perth Scorchers did put up a reasonable total on the board with 173 runs from their 20 overs. Mitchell Marsh top scored for the side with 70 runs off 41 balls to see his side get to a competitive score. Mitchell Swepson bowled well for Brisbane Heat while the rest did go for a plenty. However Lynn and McCullum made short work of the tally, in the process marking the Heat as a team capable of chasing any total, anywhere, and any time during this tournament.

Brisbane Heat might go all the way in this edition of league if Lynn’s rich vein of form continues like this till the end.
