Bangladesh keen to salvage pride against New Zealand in the final game of T20 series

The final game of t20 series between hosts New Zealand and Bangladesh will be played at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui on Sunday. The visitors will need to stand up and be counted or else it could be yet another clean sweep for the hosts in this series.

Colin Munro scored a superb century to slay Bangladeshi bowlers in the second game and help his side clinch the series 2-0.New Zealand will look to push in this last game at Bay Oval to seal another whitewash over the visitors.

Hosts New Zealand is in prime form as they have won every game in the series. The final game is also going to go the host’s way if Bangladesh does not produce their best performance. The Kiwis must give credit to Munro who came to the crease and bailed out the side from tough position to help the side post 196 runs on the board. The chase was always a difficult proposition for Bangladesh as they fell well short of the target to lose the game by 47 runs and get dismissed in 18 overs.

Bangladesh has certainly found it tough in overseas conditions and not produced their best so far in the series. It is a big learning curve for the side that is good at home but needs to adjust well in order to run sides close in foreign pitches.
