Australia and South Africa face off in a T20 series

The season starting on a bad note for South African after they lost the Test Series to England and saw Hashim Amla resign from captaincy ailing his batting prowess.

South Africa did salvage some pride at the second leg of the Tour with a one day and T20 series win to cap off the tour on a positive note after disastrous start at Durban.

Faf du Plessis,the skipper for Proteas seem to have found the ideal combination that can win them coveted trophy as they lock horns with their oldest rivals from Southern Hemisphere Australia in a T20 series.

South Africa and Australia had not yet had a chance to face off against each other in the previous global tournaments and even might not meet in WorldT20 till the final four stage.South Africa will compete with Australia to brace themselves for a hard and tough fight.

A win here for Proteas will instill big confidence for the upcoming WorldT20 event in India and they will raring to go all out to win the coveted prize this time around.

Australia on the other hand will need to put up a better show after a whitewash by India in Australia and they need to find ideal balance for the World20 held in India.

They have played eight games in T20 format since last WorldT20 held in Bangladesh so the contest will be riveting as two oldest rivals collide at Kingsmead,Durban to a full house crowd.

Faf Du Plessis has indicated to play their full strength side with Quinton De Kock slotted as opener with AB De Villiers for the upcoming matches.Dale Steyn is certain to play the game after being sidelined due to shoulder injury as Impressive Kyle Abbott might have to sit on the bench for the game after performing consistently in the previous games.
